He’s back. As talented as a wrestler can be, sometimes they can get a bit stale and something needs to change. This can be done in a variety of ways, with one of the most common being a surprise turn from good to bad or vice versa. It has worked for years and if fans don’t see it coming at all, it can be even better. Now we might have seen exactly that again.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Pat McAfee Not Scheduled To Appear At WrestleMania 39

This week on AEW Dynamite, Kenny Omega defeated Jeff Cobb in an IWGP United States Title defense. Following the match, the Blackpool Combat Club surrounded the ring, with Omega still inside. This caused Bryan Danielson to return for the first time in three weeks and attack Omega, turning heel in the process and reaffirming his status with the Club. Danielson had not been seen since Revolution when he lost to Maxwell Jacob Friedman in an Iron Man match.

Danielson can be dangerous. Check out what he has done in AEW:

Opinion: This is a way to go, but it is quite the fast return for Danielson after his emotional speech about going home. That being said, any more Danielson is a good thing and I can go for him as a villain again. If nothing else, it adds another level of danger to the Blackpool Combat Club. Omega vs. Danielson was great the first time and they have both come a long way since then.
