It’s not that simple. There are almost no stars in WWE history on the level of Brock Lesnar. After taking WWE by storm in his original run, Lesnar moved on to become the UFC Heavyweight Champion before returning to WWE and dominating the company again. Lesnar is still around today but, contrary to the original report, he might not be doing it for the time being.
IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: This Could Be Bad: Roman Reigns Reportedly Injured At Summerslam
This weekend at Summerslam, Cody Rhodes defeated Lesnar to win their feud two matches to one. Following the match, Lesnar shook Rhodes’ hand and left the ring. A report following the show said that Lesnar would be back for Fastlane in October, but now a new report from Wrestling Observer Radio, Lesnar is not going to appear at Fastlane and instead will be going away for a “long time”. Lesnar is expected to be gone or four months or so, but he should be back for WrestleMania season.
Lesnar is a different kind of star. Check out what he can do:
Opinion: That makes more sense, as Lesnar is someone who does not feel like he would be at a show like Fastlane. Instead, him going away for several months at a time and coming back for a major show down the line makes more sense. This is kind of what Lesnar does and leaving after Summerslam is more or less what he does most weeks. Lesnar will be back for a big match at WrestleMania or so and that is all he needs to do.
