Not So Fast? Update On WWE Superstar’s Status Following Rumors She Was Saying Goodbye

Sticking around? There are all kinds of talented stars on the WWE roster and it can be difficult to keep track of everyone’s status. Occasionally a wrestler appears ready to move on in one way or another but in some cases, looks can be deceiving. That appears to be the case again, as a WWE Superstar was rumored to be leaving but it seems that the opposite is true for the time being.

This week’s Monday Night Raw featured a match between Lyra Valkyria, Zoey Stark and Zelina Vega in the Women’s Intercontinental Title tournament with Valkyria pinning Nile to win. According to PWInsider.com, fans reported that Vega appeared to be saying goodbye to the crowd after the show. However, this is said to not be likely, as Vega reportedly has years remaining on her WWE contract. There is no word on how Vega might be used in WWE going forward, though “PushZelina” was trending on X after the match.

Opinion: That is a nice relief, as Vega has been doing some good work in recent months and it would be a shame to see her leave. At the same time, it would also be nice to see her getting more of a push, as she has not had a major match since her shot at Rhea Ripley at Backlash 2023. For now though, she seems to be sticking around and that is rather good news.
