And now, zero. We are less than eight days away from Ring Of Honor’s Death Before Dishonor event and coming into this week’s show, there was one match announced for the card. That leaves quite a bit left to cover, as there is a lot that still needs to be done. However, there is some bad news that is now going to make the problem even more complicated.

The only match announced for the card is Ring Of Honor World Champion defending against Mark Briscoe. Ring Of Honor owner Tony Khan has announced that Briscoe has suffered a knee injury and will not be able to compete. According to Sean Ross Sapp, the injury will likely surgery. Castagnoli’s new challenger will be named following Blood & Guts this week on AEW Dynamite.
Due to an injury reported this week, Mark Briscoe cannot be cleared to wrestle at ROH #DeathBeforeDishonor next Friday 7/21.

Castagnoli is a heck of a champion. Check out what is waiting on the challenger:
Opinion: That is horrible to hear as you never want someone to be injured. Hopefully Briscoe is back on his feet and in the ring again soon as it’s terrible to see him knocked out of a major shot like this. It also opens up the door for Castagnoli needing another challenger, though odds are it will be someone from AEW, as there is not much of a better option at the moment.
