He isn’t down for that. There are all kinds of wrestlers on the AEW roster and it can be difficult to find something for all of them to do. Miro has not appeared for AEW since All Out 2022 in September. This comes as Miro is reportedly dealing with creative differences with the company. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, one of the plans that Miro shot down would have seen him involved in a battle royal at Full Gear in November. Miro would have been the last man eliminated, with Hangman Page going on to win. Since Page was injured, the match never took place. There is no word on when Miro will return to AEW TV, but he has three years left on his contract.
Miro has done some good stuff in AEW. Check out some of his time there:
Opinion: The AEW/Miro issue continues to be a mess and hopefully the two sides can come to a solution sooner rather than later. Miro is far too talented of a star to be sitting on the sidelines for months on end but if he is saying no to everything that AEW comes up with ofr him, I’m not sure how much can be done. It would be nice to have him back, but right now it doesn’t seem to be happening anytime soon.
