That’s quite the turnaround. Batista is certainly a big name in WWE, but he’s becoming a bigger name in Hollywood as well. After playing Drax the Destroyer in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, he is moving on to some different kinds of roles going forward. Earlier this year he got back in the ring for one more match, but would he get in the ring again for one more one more match?

Batista was recently interviewed by Chris Van Vliet and discussed his retirement from wrestling. He made it very clear that he was done with having matches, though he would be open to returning to the company in another role, such as being inducted into the Hall of Fame. Batista also made it clear that he would not go and work for another wrestling company, including AEW.

He has more to say about it than just that. Check out the full interview here:

Opinion: I can’t say I blame Batista for not wanting to wrestle again. Factoring in his age (50) and the way the match was received, maybe he just does not want to do it again. He has a legitimate career in Hollywood at the moment and maybe he doesn’t want to have to deal with the street of another match. His career more than speaks for itself and he’s guaranteed a Hall of Fame spot. There’s nothing wrong with wrapping it up on your own terms.

What did you think of Batista’s career? When will he be inducted into the Hall of Fame? Let us know in the comments below.
