IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: #1: Inaugural WWE Champion Crowned This Week
On November 2, WWE will be returning to Saudi Arabia for its annual Crown Jewel event. According to Fightful Select by way of Wrestlingnews.co, CM Punk is not expected to wrestle at the show. Punk has been openly opposed to WWE’s shows in Saudi Arabia for years, dating back to before he returned to the company. Earlier this week on Monday Night Raw, Punk said that he was taking some time away from WWE. There is no word on when he will be returning to WWE TV.
Punk is quite good while he is around. Check out what he has been doing lately in WWE:
Opinion: This is hardly a big surprise and that isn’t a bad thing. Punk clearly does not approve of the show in the slightest and does not want to be involved. There is nothing wrong with having Punk sit it out, as he even has a storyline reason for not being around. Punk can come back later on and be just fine, especially after a bit of time off to recharge the batteries.
What do you think of Punk missing the show? What is next for him when he returns to WWE TV? Let us know in the comments below.
