Maybe they should have worked on that. There are all kinds of different characters in wrestling and some of them are ideas that have been used many times over the years. That does not mean they are going to be bad though, as you will often see some classics done over and over again. WWE recently did just that, only to change things up for no apparent reason. Now we know why they switched gears so suddenly.

NXT’s Tiffany Stratton recently spoke with Wrestlingnews.co and discussed her character evolution. Stratton spoke about debuting as a “Daddy’s little right girl” character but ultimately dropped the character. Stratton revealed that WWE told her that since they did not have anyone in mind to play the “daddy” character, there was no reason to keep the character going. Instead, Stratton began modeling herself after Sharpay Evans from the High School Musical franchise.

Stratton has done well in her time so far. Check out some of her work in WWE:

Opinion: This is something that makes sense and thankfully Stratton’s talent has been enough to carry her a long way. Stratton has already evolved away from what she was in the first place and has gotten into a feud with one of the biggest stars in WWE in Becky Lynch. That could taken her a long way and thankfully she has all of the tools needed to make it work.

What do you think of the character change? How well would she do on the main roster? Let us know in the comments below.
