Not So Fast? Former WWE Superstar No Longer Expected To Return At The Royal Rumble

Need more time. We are less than two weeks away from the Royal Rumble and that means WWE has a lot of work to do. The show will feature two of its namesake matches, with thirty men and thirty woman between the two. That can make for a tricky situation as WWE will need several stars to ill in the lineups, and now it seems that one of them will not be coming in for the show.

Earlier this month, reports surfaced that TNA Wrestling’s Trinity, formerly known as Naomi during her time in WWE, would be returning to the company, possibly in time for the Royal Rumble. However, according to PWInsider.com, Trinity has “several” more dates booked with TNA Wrestling and has not finished up with the company as believed. It is not clear when she will be finishing or if she will be returning to WWE when her contract expires.

Opinion: That is quite the change of pace and now we get to wait and see where things go for Trinity. While I could go for having her back in WWE, we might be waiting a bit for that to happen. What matters right now is that Trinity is going to be wrestling in a prominent promotion, which is more than a lot of other wrestlers are able to do. Hopefully she gets to go where she wants, and it seems she’ll have some options.
