It will be a bit. Injuries are one of the worst things that can happen to any wrestler as you never know how long it is going to be before they can return to the ring. A wrestler can get hurt in the blink of an eye, or it might be something that builds up over time. The latter seems to be the case with a certain AEW star, and they might not be ready to return to the ring anytime soon.

Thunder Rosa made a surprise return on this week’s Dynamite. This marked her first non-commentary appearance since November 2022, when she was forced to relinquish the AEW Women’s Title due to a back injury. Rosa appeared backstage and went into Tony Khan’s office but no announcement about her future was made. According to Wrestling Observer Radio, Rosa is nowhere near ready for a return to the ring and may need surgery to repair her back. Rosa’s most recent match took place on August 10, 2022.
Rosa is a star when she is around. Check out her time in AEW:
Opinion: This isn’t the biggest surprise, as while Rosa showing up was a big deal, she was still talking about being seriously injured until recently. There is only so much that can be done to fix a major injury like that so fast and it is going to keep her out of the ring even longer. I’m curious to see what Rosa is going to do now that she is back but still can’t wrestle, but at least she is doing something on TV for a change.
What do you think of Rosa? Who do you want to see her face when she gets back in the ring? Let us know in the comments below.
