That’s unique. Merchandise has played a big role in wrestling for a very long time now and it makes quite a bit of sense. Fans want to be able to own something that shows how much they care about their favorite wrestlers and promotions would be crazy to not capitalize on it if possible. WWE has done so for decades now and they are doing it again with quite the unique concept.

WWE is selling a “blurred” Jey Uso Yeet shirt, which has appeared both at live events and on WWE’s official merchandise page. The shirt is playing off an incident earlier this month, when WWE was unable to release the usual version of the shirt due to a trademark issue and blurred it out on television. Opinion: WWE really will put out a shirt featuring any concept, though this is at least a unique one. That being said, it’s also the kind of thing that doesn’t make a ton of sense unless the story is explained. Then again, I’m not entirely sure how YEET became a thing in the first place so maybe it doesn’t matter in the slightest. WWE certainly will try anything though and that was on full display here.
