They should brag. WWE does quite a few things over the course of a year but nothing comes close to WrestleMania. The event is the biggest thing that WWE offers its fans and more often than not, the show is a success. Some years are better than others of course, but with the 39th edition in the books, WWE has some bragging to do and that is exactly what they are doing.

WWE presented WrestleMania 39 on April 1 and 2 from SoFi Stadium near Los Angeles, California. Since the show is over, WWE has announced that WrestleMania 39 set several records. The show set records for “viewership, gate, sponsorship, merchandise and social media.” Night One broke a record for highest global viewership by 33% before Night Two broke Night One’s mark by 28%. The show’s gate brought in $21.6 million, breaking the previous mark by 27. The event also broke records in sponsorships, merchandise sales and social media views/hours of video watched.

Opinion: There are a lot of things that you can complain about with WWE, but the company knows how to make all kinds of money. They have long since figured out the formula to make WrestleMania into a huge deal and that was the case again here. You can see the effort put into this show and it seems to have turned out rather well, especially given these numbers.
