That’s a bit different. Wrestlers have all kinds of issues to deal with in keeping themselves set for the ring and those things can lead to problems. There is always the chance of a wrestler (or anyone else) developing some kind of an addiction to one thing or another and it can take time to overcome. One wrestler is certainly trying, but now he has to clarify a recent issue.
IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: It’s A Connection: Details On Why Former World Champion Re-Signed With AEW
Earlier this week, reports said that former WCW/WWE star Buff Bagwell had been arrested for driving under the influence and speeding. Bagwell has since sent out a tweet saying that while he did spend time in jail recently, this was due to an offense from years ago rather than a recent incident. He did however receive a recent sanction for not documenting a recent out of state trip properly. Bagwell also said that he is approaching 11 months sober.
Just wanted to clarify to everyone that I am 11 months sober (tomorrow). I see there is news out that I had to spend time in jail for a DUI but this was from the original offense years ago. I did get a recent sanction because I didn’t document a recent trip out of state properly

Bagwell had a rather nice career. Check out what he did in the ring:
Opinion: That is good to hear as there is a world of difference between the two stories. Assuming what Bagwell says is true, good for him for maintaining his sobriety for this long and even if it isn’t, good for him for making an effort. What he is trying to do is rather difficult but he seems to be putting in the effort to make it work. Hopefully it gets better for him, but this is at least a start.
