It can happen to anyone. Injuries can happen at any time in wrestling and you never know when you are going to see them. Some injuries can be a lot more serious than others and unfortunately those are the kind of things that pop up out of nowhere. There seems to have been another injury on the biggest stage of them all, but it didn’t stop anyone from finishing the match.
IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Say What? Asuka Posts Strange Comments After WrestleMania, Calls Women’s Division “Boring”
This weekend at WrestleMania 39 Night Two, Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler won a fatal four way women’s showcase tag team match. Baszler was absent from most of the match but appeared at the end to help Rousey win. Once Baszler returned, she had taken off her walking boot and was limping around the ring. There is no word on the nature of her injury or if she will be missing any ring time.
It was a big night. Check out the match, plus Baszler when she is healthy:
Opinion: I’m not sure what happened here but that sounds like it could be a twisted or sprained ankle. What matters is that Baszler was able to finish the match and it would be great if she is still around without having to miss time due to injury. Baszler has been doing a lot better as of late as Rousey’s partner and it would be a shame to have everything cut off because of an injury.
What do you think of Baszler? What is next for her and Rousey? Let us know in the comments below.
