They’re back? There have been all kinds of stars to come through the doors of WWE over the years and several of them have done some great things. This includes a variety of former champions, many of which might not be as well remembered as others. Now though, WWE is bringing back some former champions in a very different way, which has the two of them rather excited.

Former WWE Tag Team Champions the Headbangers have announced that they have signed a General Nostalgia Agreement with WWE. These deals allow WWE to create and release merchandise for former stars. The Headbangers worked for WWE from 1996-2000, winning the Tag Team Titles in 1997 and holding them for 28 days. They also returned to WWE for a short stint in 2016.

Opinion: This is cool to see as you get to have a nice flashback to days of teams past. The Headbangers were a fun team while they were around and did some cool things over a few years. What matters is having some nostalgia, hence the name of the agreement and I’m sure there are going to be some fans to be glad to have some new Headbangers gear available for the first time in 20+ years.
