It could be worse. There are all kinds of injuries that can take place during a wrestler’s career and you never want to see one take place. Unfortunately there is little that can be done to prevent them, but there are some minor gains that they can bring. If a wrestler is able to work through their injury, it can be tied into a match, which was the case this week with a popular star.

Last month, Bryan Danielson suffered a broken orbital bone which put him out of action. Danielson has since returned to the ring to compete in the Continental Classic. According to Fightful Select, Danielson faced Andrade El Idolo this week in a tournament match taped for this weekend’s Collision. At one point in the match, Danielson was busted open around his injured eye. However, Danielson is said to be ok and the eye injury was part of the angle or the match. Danielson is also advertised for this week’s Rampage, which will be taped after Collision.

Danielson is a high quality star. Check out what he can do:

Opinion: It’s great to hear that Danielson is ok as you never want to see someone get hurt even worse than they already are. What matters is that Danielson can stay in the ring, which is always a possibility with someone who wrestles as physical a style as he does. It will be nice to hear that Danielson is back to full health, but things seem to be good enough at the moment.

What do you think of Danielson? How far will he go in the tournament? Let us know in the comments below.
