No? AEW Makes Confusing Decision Regarding Upcoming Ronda Rousey Match

They didn’t mention her. There are certain stars in wrestling who feel like bigger deals than anyone else around them. You can feel their star power no matter what they are doing and it can make a big difference to have them on a wrestling show. That is going to be the case again this week, though there is only going to be so much advertising about the appearance before it happens.

Last week, Ronda Rousey made a surprise appearance at a Ring Of Honor taping and wrestled in a tag match. The match has since been advertised for this week’s episode on the official Ring Of Honor Instagram. However, there was no mention of the match this week on AEW Dynamite, despite a Pure Rules Title match between Katsuyori Shibata and Trent Beretta being advertised for the same Ring Of Honor show.

Opinion: I really don’t get this one. Rousey was seemingly brought in to boost interest in Ring Of Honor but for some reason her debut is not being advertised on national television. That would make sense if the appearance was being kept a secret, but Ring Of Honor advertised it on its official social media channels. That doesn’t make a ton of sense and I would be interested in knowing the logic behind the move.
