The big names representing. Later this year, WWE will be getting one of its biggest moves in history when SmackDown Live moves to the FOX network. The move puts WWE on network television for the first time ever as a weekly show and that is kind of a huge deal. That means FOX is investing in the company and therefore, they want something back from WWE, including its top stars making some special appearances.

According to 411mania.com, both John Cena and Ronda Rousey appeared at the FOX upfronts, where networks talk about their upcoming shows for the next TV season. Cena is currently only an occasional wrestler but does still appear for the company. Rousey is currently on hiatus in an attempt to start a family and this is one of her first appearances on behalf of WWE since WrestleMania 35. There is no word on if either or both of them will appear on the first broadcast of SmackDown Live on FOX in October.

You might not have seen Cena in a little while. Check out his latest return at WrestleMania 35:

Opinion: That’s the kind of star power that FOX is looking for as WWE is built around its biggest names. Having these two names on SmackDown Live would be a big deal for the network as both of them are bigger stars than almost anyone else. Seeing them in October wouldn’t surprise me in the slightest, though having them around week to week would be quite surprising indeed.
