The main event of this week’s Monday Night Raw saw Rollins successfully defend the title against Damian Priest. Late in the match, Priest’s Judgment Day teammate Finn Balor interfered, only to be taken out by Rollins. Following the match, Balor and Rollins stared each other down to end the show. Earlier in the night, Rollins had made reference to his history with Balor, who defeated him to win the inaugural Universal Title.
It was a busy night. Check out how tonight went, plus the first Balor vs. Rollins match:
Opinion: That is certainly one way to go for the title and I’ve heard worse ideas. The theme for Rollins right now seems to be getting title defenses under his belt as fast as possible and that can make for some interesting moments, such as this one. Balor getting a shot at the title is hardly a stretch, even if Rollins beat Balor less than a month ago to get his own shot in the first place.
