Next Up? WWE Reportedly Discussing Another International Premium Live Event

That would be big. WWE has been undergoing a variety of changes in recent months and that has included expanding to various different markets. While the company’s television shows might have been airing in these areas, there have rarely been major events taking place int hose areas. WWE has been changing that in recent months, and now we might know where they are going next.

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE has been in discussions about holding a premium live event in Mexico City, Mexico at some point in 2025. There is no word on how far those discussions have gone or when such a show could take place. WWE has held international premium live events in various countries, including Germany, the United Kingdom and Australia among others in 2024.

Opinion: This is an interesting idea and it would not surprise me a bit to see WWE go in this direction. Mexico has long since been a hotbed of wrestling and WWE would be wise to try to get in on that market. That might not be the easiest thing in the world, but there is at least a chance that they could make it work. It is certainly worth trying and WWE might be interested in doing just that.
