It’s a family thing. There have been several wrestling families throughout the sport’s history with some of them being very successful. These are some of the families that you will see pop up every so often and it can be a big deal when one of them gets a new member. According to Fightful Select by way of Cagesideseats.com, Sting’s son, Steve Borden Jr., is now training to be a wrestler. Borden appeared as part of Sting’s retirement match at Revolution 2024, appearing as the Wolfpac version of Sting. There is no word on when he began training or who is training him for the ring. Borden is a former college football player from the University Of Kentucky.
He comes from good talent. Check out Borden’s father in the ring:
Opinion: I can’t say I’m overly surprised, as a lot of people were thinking Sting’s sons belonged in the ring based on how they looked at Revolution. Maybe he can do something in the ring, but it might be a long time before we see Borden’s career actually develop. The athleticism and genetics are there though and that could get his foot quite the distance into the door.
