Wait a bit? There are different kinds of feuds in wrestling but several are based on wrestlers’ hatred of each other, with the matches being built up with fans wanting to see the wrestlers get their hands on each other. That can make for some long term stories, which is what we are seeing in WWE at the moment. In this case, it might be delaying another long awaited feud.

One of the top feuds currently taking place in WWE is the rivalry between CM Punk and Drew McIntyre. Their first match took place at Summerslam, where special guest referee Seth Rollins got involved as McIntyre picked up the win. According to PW Insider Elite by way of Cagesideseats.com, a WWE source is saying that a feud between Punk and Rollins might not begin until 2025, as McIntyre vs. Punk might continue beyond the upcoming Bash In Berlin event, along with WWE planning things out longer in advance than before. Punk vs. Rollins was teased before Punk was injured earlier this year but the two have not had a match.
It’s certainly appealing. Check out Punk and Rollins so far:
Opinion: This a bit surprising, as that is a long time from a feud that could have started out of Summerslam, but it is also nice to see WWE planning things out this far in advance. Punk vs. Rollins could be a rather lengthy feud if given the right chance and we might be seeing it take place next, which is good both for it as well as Punk vs. McIntyre. The latter has a long way to go and WWE seems to know that.
What do you think of the feud? How will Punk vs. McIntyre end? Let us know in the comments below.
