It’s a place to go. There are all kinds of wrestling events throughout the year but there is only one WrestleMania. The show is the biggest event of the year and a wrestler appearing on the show is quite the honor in the industry. The event draws millions of dollars to the host city’s local economy and as a result, it makes a big deal when a city gets the show. We now might have an idea of where the show is going in the future.

According to Fightful Select, WWE officials have “heavily discussed” bring WrestleMania 41 to US Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Minnesota in 2025. The stadium holds 73,000 fans for football games and WWE views the venue as “world class”. Minneapolis has been rumored for a WrestleMania host city for several months. It should be noted that nothing has been made official thus far and it is not clear when an announcement could be made.

Opinion: This is the kind of news that can make for some very exciting moments for a lot of fans. WrestleMania has not been anywhere near Minneapolis for a very long time now and it is nice to see the area being a possible WrestleMania destination. If nothing else, it shows how the event is changing a bit, as the company is going to need to find some new ways to present the show going forward.
