You might know him. There are some incredibly talented wrestlers and wrestling personalities in the world, but not all of them are going to be the right fit in WWE. For one reason or another, someone might not be best suited in the company. That does not mean their careers are over though and now someone is getting a chance to showcase their skills elsewhere in the wrestling world.
IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: One Down: Title Officially Retired On AEW Dynamite
This week’s edition of AEW Dynamite saw the debut of MVP, who interrupted a Prince Nana interview. MVP talked about how impressed he was with Swerve Strickland, who is managed by Nana. While MVP was impressed by what Strickland has done, he felt that Strickland could be more successful with better management. He gave Nana his business card and said he was ready to talk business with Strickland. This comes as MVP left WWE when his contract expired earlier this year.
MVP is a big addition. Check out what he has done prior to his arrival in AEW:
Opinion: This is a situation where MVP might be a former WWE star but it is a smart move for AEW to bring him into the fold. While I don’t know if he is going to be getting back in the ring, he can certainly be put in someone’s corner and use his abilities on a microphone to make things that much better. You don’t get to see something like that very often and this is a good addition for everyone involved.
What do you think of the debut? Who should MVP be paired with first? Let us know in the comments below.
