Pack your bags. NXT is in a bit of a strange place at the moment as they are going through another transition. After about a year as NXT 2.0, the promotion has dropped the numbers and seems to be shifting in a new direction with Triple H back in power in WWE. That means some changes to NXT and now we might know the next major step in the company’s new path.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: They’re Here: New Day Makes Surprise NXT Appearance, Jumps Into Title Picture

According to PWInsider.com, NXT will be heading back on the road for its next premium live event. NXT Vengeance Day is expected to be held on Saturday February 4, 2023 at the Spectrum Center in Charlotte, North Carolina. NXT rarely goes on the road, with only one event taking place outside of Orlando, Florida this year, with Stand & Deliver being held in Dallas, Texas. WWE has yet to announce the show.

NXT has been on the road before. Check out some of their previous road trips:

Opinion: This is the kind of thing that NXT needs to do from time to time. At some point you can only get so much out of having the same people seeing the shows. Doing things like going on the road for special events and the live event tour opens up a bunch of new doors for NXT, as the wrestlers get to see what works elsewhere. Throw in hopefully making some money off ticket sales and maybe this works out well for them.

What do you expect from the show? What other changes does NXT need to make? Let us know in the comments below.
