He’s getting another chance. Earlier this year, Sami Zayn was ejected from the Bloodline after turning on Roman Reigns at the Royal Rumble. This led to one of the biggest matches in Zayn’s career as he unsuccessfully challenged Reigns for the WWE Universal Title in his hometown of Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Zayn has moved on since, but now we are in for a bit of a flashback.

The T-Mobile Center in Kansas City, Missouri has announced that Zayn will receive a title shot against Reigns at the October 14 WWE live event. In addition to defeating Zayn at Elimination Chamber, Reigns also defeated him at a live event in Toronto in March. If he does not wrestle before the 14th, this will be Reigns’ first match since Summerslam on August 5.

There is a history here. Check out Reigns and Zayn over the year:

Opinion: This is the kind of thing that will work almost no matter what, as the fans can get into the idea of Reigns facing anyone, but Zayn has the ability to connect to the fans with ease. While there is virtually no change of the title changing hands, there is something special about seeing the title on the line and having Reigns in the ring, no matter who he is facing.

What do you think of the match? Who will take the title from Reigns? Let us know in the comments below.
