That’s how you make a dream match. AEW has become one of the biggest deals in wrestling in a very short amount of time. There are a lot of reasons for its popularity, including the fact that it feels like something different for a change. This includes all kinds of different wrestlers, many of whom have been presented in a different way than anything WWE does these days. A major way is in the tag team division, and AEW seems ready to deliver a dream match.

This week on Dynamite, Santana and Ortiz, formerly known as LAX in Impact Wrestling, won a match in short order over a pair of enhancement talents. After the match was over, AEW World Champion Chris Jericho appeared on the video screen to say that as members of the Inner Circle, Santana and Ortiz needed to be facing top level talent. This included the Young Bucks, so Jericho challenged them to a match against Santana and Ortiz at Full Gear on November 9. The match has yet to be made official but this would suggest that the match is a strong possibility.

The Young Bucks have a habit of getting into dream matches. Check out the setup of one of the biggest ones so far in AEW’s history:

Opinion: This is one of those matches that had to happen at some point, just due to the amount of talent in AEW’s tag team division. There are so many teams in the division that you can put in a variety of combinations and having one great match after another. Just pick a combination of the Young Bucks, Santana/Ortiz, the Lucha Bros and SCU, plus various other teams who could be brought up to the next level. It is one of AEW’s major strengths and we are lucky to get to see this match (as it is all but guaranteed to take place).
