Next In Line: WWE Has Discussed Sending This Star To NXT

She’s next. There are three different rosters in WWE, each of which is designed to be exclusive to one television show. WWE will occasionally move things around though and that involves some wrestlers going from one roster to another as a guest star. This has been quite the success for WWE, and that is going to cause them to try the same thing again with another name.

Earlier this week, World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins appeared on NXT and defended his title against Bron Breakker. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, this was seen as a huge success and WWE is wanting to bring more main roster stars to NXT. One name being discussed is Ronda Rousey, perhaps defending the Women’s Tag Team Titles with Shayna Baszler. There is no word on when Rousey might appear in NXT.

Opinion: This is the kind of thing that makes sense for WWE to do as sending top stars down to NXT is something that can do a lot of good. The fans know who these bigger stars are and it makes for a special moment to have them around. It isn’t like the main roster stars are taking NXT over and it might even help them on Monday Night raw or SmackDown. It’s a good idea from WWE and it makes sense to keep it going.
