News On Becky Lynch, Including Why She Was Not At WrestleMania 37

What could have been. There are very few stars in WWE who make it to the top of the company. You know one of the really big names when you see them and they are among the top names in all of the wrestling world. It can mean a lot when one of them has to go away but it can mean even more when one of them gets to come back. We now know a bit more about when that might be happening.

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, former Raw and SmackDown Women’s Champion Becky Lynch should be returning to WWE television “relatively soon”. Lynch was backstage at Hell In A Cell and has been training at the Performance Center, including working in the ring. She was not used at WrestleMania 37 as WWE was waiting on her to sign a new deal with the company, which has now been completed. WWE also did not want her to debut before she was ready to wrestle again. There is no word on when Lynch will be returning to either television or the ring.

Opinion: I’m looking forward to having Lynch back, but at the same time I’m almost worried to see what WWE does for her. Things have changed a good bit and I’m not sure what WWE is going to have for her when she gets back. Lynch is as big of a female star as there has ever been and she was the biggest star in WWE for a bit, but a year plus off is a very long time.
