They’re next. We are coming up on the Royal Rumble but that is not the only big WWE event taking place in the next few weeks. Before WWE heads onto the official Road To WrestleMania, there is still an edition of Saturday Night’s Main Event to deal with first. That is going to take place this week and now we have another showdown officially set for the card.
IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Injured WWE Superstar May Be Returning Far Earlier Than Expected
This week on Monday Night Raw, WWE Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley was attacked by Nia Jax. The two got into a fight later in the show, resulting in Jax being driven through the barricade. Ripley challenged Jax to a title match at Saturday Night’s Main Event, with the match being made official later in the show. Ripley previous defeated Jax at Elimination Chamber last February.

Opinion: I’m not sure how likely a title change is going to be but it is nice to see the match being officially announced. This should be a nice way to see Ripley get a title defense under her belt after having gotten the title back earlier this month. That is something that should work well, as Jax is about as perfect of a choice for a monster to slay as you could ask for right now.
What do you think of the match? Who leaves with the title? Let us know in the comments below.
