They don’t have time to waste. Earlier this month, NXT announced the return of Takeover, which has been absent from the schedule for a few months now. That makes things a lot harder on the fans as Takeover is one of the best things going in all of wrestling. The shows have a reputation as being some of the best around and hopefully this one lives up to the hype. We now have another match added to the card.

There are very few wrestlers under the WWE umbrella who are as controversial as Charlotte. She is incredibly talented, but some fans don’t care for how dominant she has been in her career. Charlotte has won ten titles on Monday Night Raw and SmackDown, plus two more in NXT. That’s quite a bit for about six years, but now we might be seeing her drop one of them.

In a new interview with TV Guide, Charlotte has announced that she will be defending the NXT Women’s Title against both Io Shirai and Rhea Ripley at Takeover: In Your House on June 7. This comes after Ripley returned to NXT after losing the title to Charlotte at WrestleMania 36 last month. Shirai had already won a #1 contenders ladder match but Charlotte was disqualified in the title match.

All three of them have a chance. Check out the three of them in action:

Opinion: This is hardly a surprise and that is the kind of match that you need to have. NXT knows how to set up a Takeover card because you can see a lot of the matches already being ready before the card is actually announced. That’s something that can help a lot and it is the case here. The three women have already been in a rivalry for a few weeks now so go with what makes sense here. It helps that the match should be good on top of that.

Who do you see leaving as champion? What else will be added to the card? Let us know in the comments below.
