Moving on up. NXT is a rare breed in wrestling in that it is both its own thing as well as the WWE’s official developmental territory. Therefore the main goal of its stars is to be promoted to the main roster one day. It can be a career game changer for someone to be called up and now a group of several wrestlers could be getting the same kind of attention all at once.

According to both PWInsider.com and Fightful Select, the entire Legado del Fantasma stable is expected to be moved to SmackDown in the near future, possibly as soon as this week. The team, comprised of Santos Escobar, Elektra Lopez, Cruz del Toro and Joaquin Wilde, left NXT earlier this year and have been expected to be called up to the main roster. There is no word on if there will be any changes to the team.

Opinion: This is one of those long expected moves and it should be a good way to go for everyone. The team did well down in NXT and seem like they could be ready to go on the main roster. Just do the same thing that they did in NXT on a bigger scale with better opponents and the whole idea should work. That is a good sign for the future of NXT and the main roster should benefit as well.

What do you think of the team? How will they do on the main roster? Let us know in the comments below.
