The card keeps growing. We are just over three weeks away from Survivor Series and that means things are starting to pick up in a hurry. There are a lot of things going on already but several more details need to be put in place. With so many matches to come and so many spots on the card to fill, that can be quite the task, but WWE has been taking care of some things this week, including on SmackDown.

Over the last few years, the main focus of Survivor Series has been on the Battle For Brand Supremacy. Both Monday Night Raw and SmackDown will send in wrestlers to compete in a series of elimination tags, with the winners gaining bragging rights for the year. This week, Monday Night Raw added some names to its rosters and now SmackDown has begun to do the same.

This week on SmackDown, three names were set for the brand vs. brand matches at Survivor Series. First up, Kevin Owens and Jey Uso qualified for the men’s Survivor Series match by defeating Dolph Ziggler and Daniel Bryan respectively. Also, Bianca Belair won a triple threat match by defeating Natalya and Billie Kay to qualify for the women’s Survivor Series match. Each team will eventually have five members with other names being determined in the coming weeks.

It was a busy night. Check out how we got here:

Opinion: This is the kind of thing that has to happen on the way to the show and it worked out fine here. They covered three of the ten slots and if they do that for two weeks plus a little bit more, everything will be fine. WWE knows how to build things up in a hurry and if they do it right here, Survivor Series will work out well enough. This was taken care rather easily this week and that’s always nice to see.

What do you think of the teams so far? How will the show go? Let us know in the comments below.
