There’s still time for more. We are less than a week away from WrestleMania Backlash and the card still has quite a few holes to fill in. With so many things left to add to the show, it is time to start getting things rolling. That was the case during this week’s edition of Monday Night Raw when a grudge match was added, but now there is going to be a little twist.
This week on Monday Night Raw, a match between Miz and Damian Priest was announced for WrestleMania Backlash. However, the match will not be a traditional one as Priest was allowed to pick the stipulation due to defeating Miz’s partner John Morrison during the show. As a result, the match will be a lumberjack match, which Priest selected due to being tired of Miz and Morrison double teaming him.
These two have a history. Check out how we got here:
Opinion: The stipulation does make things a little bit better as we have seen these two fight more than a few times now. Let there be something a little bit different to give the match some variety, but you never can tell where things are going to go with something like this. Hopefully we get something fresh at the pay per view because Priest certainly needs the win.
Above all else though, it is nice to have Priest getting a spot like this without Bad Bunny around him. You can only get so far when he is stuck playing second fiddle to a celebrity, but at least there is a chance that he is actually getting somewhere. That being said, it is time for him to move on from Miz and Morrison so hopefully this is the big finale for the feud as a whole.
What are you expecting from the match? What is next for both of them? Let us know in the comments below.
