Home sweet home. The Coronavirus has changed the way the wrestling world works and not in a good way. One of the biggest changes for WWE has been the need to stay in one place for so long. The company has been stuck in Florida for over a year now and that is likely going to be the case for the time being. WWE now has a new place to go and now we know a bit more about it.

One of WWE’s biggest changes during the Coronavirus has been the Thunderdome, a venue where the main television shows have been filmed since the pandemic began. The venue has been held in two different locations so far and now a third has been announced. WWE is moving the Thunderdome to the Yuengling Center in Tampa, Florida and now we know a few more details.

The Yuengling Center’s website has listed some new details on WWE’s new residence in the building. The residence is listed as running from April 1 until August 3, though the first show is expected to be the Monday Night Raw after WrestleMania on April 12. This scheduled would make the final show the August 2 Monday Night Raw, assuming WWE does not tape some shows in advance. In addition, fans will not be permitted at the events, meaning that barring a change, WrestleMania 37 is currently the only scheduled event for fans until early August.

WWE has been there before. Check out one of its more famous events:

Opinion: This is something good for the company and it is nice to see WWE having a new home for the next few months. I know it is a little annoying to be in the same venue for months on end and without fans, but there is a good chance that this is the last venue WWE will be using for the Thunderdome. You can see the light at the end of the tunnel and assuming nothing changes, everything should be getting better.
