There’s a reason for that. One of the more interesting WWE stories in recent weeks has been the absence of several wrestlers from WWE television. Multiple WWE wrestlers have been staying on the sidelines for a long time now and it is a bit of a strange situation. There have been some stories about some of the wrestlers, but now we might know a thing about one of the missing names.

The NXT Title has long since been one of the more important championships under the WWE banner. The list of former champions is quite the who’s who in WWE today, with a strong collection of people having held the title. While the title is a great milestone, it is no guarantee of success on the main roster. That seems to be the case again, but there might be another explanation.

According to Fightful Select, Monday Night Raw’s Keith Lee is still on the sidelines due to unspecified health issues. Lee has been suffering from such issues since February and has yet to be cleared for a return. Lee was originally planned to win the United States Title at Elimination Chamber in a triple threat match before he was replaced by John Morrison. There is no word on what is wrong with Lee or when he will be returning to the ring.

Lee still has a lot to offer to WWE. Check out what he can do when healthy:

Keith Lee's biggest wins: NXT Top 5

Keith Lee vs. Bobby Lashley – Winner Advances to Triple Threat Match: Raw, Nov. 23, 2020

FULL MATCH - Keith Lee vs Dominik Dijakovic - NXT North American Title Match: NXT TakeOver: Portland

Opinion: As bad as it is to hear that there is something wrong with Lee, it is a bit of a relief to know that there is a specific reason that Lee has been missing from WWE television. What matters most is him getting healthy, but now maybe WWE can do whatever they possibly can to bring him back. Lee is not the kind of star that you see every day so hopefully he is back sooner rather than later.
