That’s a first. Monday Night Raw has been the flagship show of WWE for over thirty years now and the show continues to run every week, often as the most prominent in all of wrestling. While the show has mostly aired from the United States, there are rare instances when it ventures elsewhere. That is going to be the case again soon, though it will not be without controversy.

According to PWInsider.com, the November 4 Monday Night Raw will be held in Saudi Arabia. The show will be taped the night before on November 3, following the November 2 Crown Jewel event. This will mark the first time that the show has ever aired from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which has hosted WWE events since 2019. There have also been reports of either the Royal Rumble or WrestleMania taking place in the country in the future, though nothing has been officially announced.

They’re getting the big one. Check out what Monday Night Raw has been doing:

Opinion: This is something you had to know was coming sooner or later and that is not going to go well for a lot of people. While the deal with Saudi Arabia has been incredibly valuable to WWE, it is not something that is going to be well received with everyone. Monday Night Raw is now going to be added to the list of things WWE does with the country and that isn’t likely to be the last one.
