It might be a bit. There are all kinds of injuries in wrestling and some of them can be a lot more serious than others. Occasionally you will see someone get hurt to the point where they are unable to stick around for the time being and need some time off. That can be quite the shakeup, and unfortunately it is happening to someone who happens to hold a title at the moment.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: WRESTLING RUMOR: Warner Brothers Discovery Reported Interested In WWE Programming

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Rey Fenix is taking some time off from AEW due to being banged up in recent weeks. This comes after Fenix has not wrestled since Battle Of The Belts VI on April 7 when he and Penta El Cero Miedo retained their Ring Of Honor Tag Team Titles. There is no word on how long Fenix will be out of action or what this might mean for the titles.

Fenix is incredible when he is healthy. Check out what he can do in the ring:

Opinion: This is never something you want to see and the fact that Fenix is one half of the Tag Team Champions makes it even more complicated. Hopefully he is back in the ring sooner rather than later, as there are a lot of teams who could be coming after the belts. What matters most is his health though, and letting him heal before things get even worse is a good idea.

What do you think of Fenix? What happens if the titles have to be vacated? Let us know in the comments below.
