On a breather. AEW is a unique wrestling promotion as it came about due to a groundswell of support for a group of wrestlers. That combined with Tony Khan as a backer made the company come to live in a situation you do not seem to see happening very often. That being said, there are going to be some problems at some point and that might be the case again.

Over the weekend at AEW Full Gear, the Young Bucks were defeated by Kenny Omega and Chris Jericho in a tag match. Following the match, the Bucks lost their tempers and threw chairs around ringside. This led to Bucks’ associate Brandon Cutler announcing that the Bucks would be taking time away from wrestling. According to Fightful Select, the current plan is for the Bucks to turn full heel, with Cutler doing the same. The Bucks are also believed to have a good relationship with AEW and the time away is merely part of the storyline.

Opinion: This isn’t a big surprise as the Bucks have been moving back into the heel territory for a long time now, which tends to suit them better. Having Cutler as their spokesman is going to make things more interesting and should serve them well. What matters is getting the most out of the Bucks, who have been needing a change of pace for a bit now.
