It can happen to anyone. There are all kinds of matches in WWE but some of them are designed to ramp up the violence to another level. Those are the matches that do not happen very often and are usually designed to be the biggest and most important matches in a feud. One of them took place this weekend but a portion was so violent that things had to be paused.

Edge defeated Finn Balor in a Hell In A Cell match at WrestleMania 39 Part Two on Sunday. During the match, Edge threw a ladder at Balor’s head, which was cut open by the impact. WWE stopped the match and, according to PWInsider.com, Balor’s head was numbed and the medical team stapled the cut together on the spot. As Balor was being tended to, Edge pulled out more weapons to distract the audience.

Opinion: That is the kind of thing that happens every so often and as annoying as it might have been, it was the right move to stop the match and let the medics do their job. A cut open head, or a serious cut of any kind, is something that needs to be dealt with as soon as possible. Everything wound up being ok in the end and what matters is getting Balor the help that he needed.
