Set a spell, take your shoes off. While it might be the biggest wrestling company in the world, there are some wrestlers who fit in better outside of WWE. They are able to go somewhere else and see what they can put together, which makes for some interesting changes of scenery. Even if that is the case though, sometimes they might come back and see what happens in WWE on a second run. That is the case with a former star, and now he is sticking around.

Back in January, MVP made a surprise return to WWE in the Royal Rumble. It was the first time he had appeared for WWE in over nine years and ultimately led to the start of another full time run with the company. MVP is now the leader of the Hurt Business and has helped boost Bobby Lashley’s WWE career. That is quite the feat, and now he is being rewarded as a result.

On Friday, MVP announced via Instagram that he has signed a new multiyear deal with WWE. There are no details on how long the contract is for or when it will go into effect. MVP has been serving both as a wrestler and manager and also spent a few weeks as a producer. There is no word on if he will move back into this producer role when his in-ring career ends.

MVP has had quite the run in WWE. Check out his recent time with the company:

Opinion: Now this is great to hear. MVP is someone who has impressed the heck out of me since he has returned and his work with Lashley has been some of the best stuff in his entire career. I could go for more of both MVP and the Hurt Business, so well done WWE on keeping him around. It’s great to see, and thankfully we can see some more of one of the best acts in the company today.

What do you expect from MVP? Who else should join the Hurt Business? Let us know in the comments below.
