Replacements? There are all kinds of talented stars on the AEW roster and other promotions would probably love to have several of them. These are often stars who have developed quite the reputation outside of AEW and can be interested in moving over if given the chance. That might be what we are getting ready to see again with a variety of stars possibly wanting to head elsewhere.
IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: 54 Year Old AEW Star Believed To Be Wrapping Up His In-Ring Career After Violent Match
Earlier this month, news broke that Malakai Black was finishing up with AEW and might be interested in a return to WWE. He may not be the only one, as according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Rey Fenix, Miro and Ricky Starks may all sign with WWE when their AEW contracts expire. It is not clear how long any of their current deals have left on them or if there is any guarantee that the moves will take place. Other than Black, none have wrestled on AEW TV in several months.

Opinion: This isn’t the biggest surprise as all of them have been stuck sitting on the sidelines or having issues with AEW for a long time now. They are more than talented enough to get work elsewhere and that seems to be the case again with at least some of them. I could go for seeing something like this, as it’s better than seeing them stuck on the sidelines for months at a time.
