How much is that worth to you? Over the last few weeks, one of the biggest stories has been the ridiculous amount of money that WWE made from the Greatest Royal Rumble event. While the show was worth a fortune, it came with some strings attached in the form of everything involving the women’s division. However, there are a variety of ways for WWE to make money, and one of them might make a bit more money than you might have guessed.

Recently on Twitter, a fan asked Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter about how much WWE makes at each house show. According to Meltzer, WWE brought in an average of $37,000 per house show in their last financial quarter. This average does not include any money that WWE brings in off of merchandise but does take into consideration all of their expenses. It’s not clear if this includes any revenue WWE may receive from parking, concessions or other money brought in.

Opinion: When you consider how many of these things WWE puts on every week, it’s no wonder that the company is making so much money week in and week out. At the end of the day, WWE knows how to make money but the key to the whole thing is that people like to watch them. The company is going to make a lot of money because they know how to do it. This includes with house shows, as in the most basic level of watching wrestling you can get, which says a lot about how good the company still is.
