It might be over before it starts. With Super ShowDown in the books, one of the more questionable results was the way Lars Sullivan defeated the Lucha House Party. Sullivan won the match in his debut, but he did so via disqualification when the team attacked him at the same time. This was rather confusing given the status Sullivan seemed to have, but things may have changed.

According to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, Sullivan’s push may be in trouble in WWE. The problem stems from Sullivan’s issues over the last few weeks with his comments online from before he joined WWE. Sullivan was fined and punished for the statements and the entire ordeal may have calmed down the idea of giving him such a huge push. There is no word on what is next for Sullivan going forward.

Sullivan did get to do something on Friday. Check out some of his offense against the trio:

Opinion: This isn’t the biggest surprise in the world but it’s something that is rather disappointing. Sullivan showed the potential to be a big star but now it seems that things have already fallen apart for him. That being said, given all of the comments that he made before coming to WWE, there is only so much that you can expect WWE to do with him. Those comments would have gotten a lot of people fired outright so WWE even giving him a chance is better than some would have received.

Is Sullivan already done in WWE? What is next for him? Let us know in the comments below.
