Maybe it’s what he needs. Wrestlers’ names are some of the most important aspects of their entire persona, as the wrong name can have quite the negative impact. At the same time though, having the right name can make all of the difference in the world, especially if the name is changed at the right time. That might be the case again with a Monday Night Raw star.
This week on Monday Night Raw, a vignette aired advertising that Veer Mahaan was coming to the show soon. This marks a name change for Mahaan, who had previously gone only by his first name. Mahaan debuted on Monday Night Raw earlier this year as one of Jinder Mahal’s enforcers but twas split off from him, as Mahal and Shanky were both sent to SmackDown in the WWE Draft. There is no word on when Mahaan will make his debut as a singles star.

He has done well so far. Check out what Mahaan has done in WWE:
Opinion: This sounds like the kind of change that could do some good, as the one word name did not exactly sound great. I’m not sure what Mahaan is going to do in the ring, but at least he is getting something closer to a fresh start. If nothing else, it makes sense to give him a new thing after his time as Mahal’s enforcer. It might not work, but at least WWE is making an adjustment.
What does the change mean for Mahaan? How would you push him on Monday Night Raw? Let us know in the comments below.
