….Ouch. Last week’s audience for “Monday Night Raw” saw a nice boost with their best results in six weeks. The fact that there was no NBA playoff game to contend with helped a lot but the question was how well could they hold up against a potentially season ending game? The results are in.

According to Showbuzz Daily, the show averaged 2.542 million viewers, which is the lowest the show has drawn all year. The show was still the highest viewed cable show and the second highest rated, but the NBA Finals drew 19.2 and 20.6 million viewers against the final two hours of “Monday Night Raw”, absolutely shattered WWE’s numbers.

Opinion: I don’t think there’s any shock that this happened but it might be a surprise that it was this low. WWE couldn’t be happier to have the NBA finally going away for a long time as there’s nothing they can do to contend with the basketball. This wasn’t the worst week for “Monday Night Raw” but sweet goodness it took a beating.
