Miz And Maryse On Their Special Time Together At An Adult Store

Movie, dinner, adult store. Wrestling couples have an interesting history as you never know how well the pairs are going to go. Some of them are highly successful and make for great results while others aren’t so good. Miz and Maryse would certainly be in the former and their success seems to back that up. They have a reality show, a beautiful daughter, and a great chemistry. But how did they get started?

Miz and Maryse were recently interviewed by Yahoo Lifestyle about their life and marriage, including the reality show and their daughter. During the interview, the couple started talking about their first date, which took place in the parking lot of an adult store. The pair had met at work and Miz had wanted to talk to Maryse after one of the shows was over. Here are some highlights:

Miz On Meeting Maryse During The Divas Search

“She cuts this promo in French, and she gets up in my face. I’m loving every second of it. This girl is it.”

Maryse On The Adult Store Parking Lot Date

“We’re in Kansas City, and it’s two in the morning. I’m trying to get back to my hotel, and you call me on my phone [while you were driving nearby]. You said, ‘Pull over, pull over!’ I kind of found myself in a parking lot of a porn shop.”

And Miz On How Things Went

“You might think this is a little weird but I didn’t want to get in the friend zone. I wanted her to know where my mind was at. But it worked, all right. We sat there in the parking lot and talked for three hours, with a person that doesn’t speak English. That’s an A-plus in my book as a first date.”

Opinion: I mean….it worked. This might not be the most conventional way of getting together for the first time, but the two do indeed seem to be happy and in love all these years later. If nothing else they’re certainly a success in WWE, where the two of them have become a great duo whose story with Daniel Bryan is connecting with a bunch of others on SmackDown Live.
