Missing WWE Superstar Expected To Return At The Royal Rumble

Remember him? We are a few days away from the Royal Rumble and that means it is time to fill in the rest of the gaps in the show’s namesake matches. The matches feature thirty entrants each and that means WWE has to work hard to get a bunch of people together to fill out the lineups. That is what we might be seeing with quite a large return for one of the matches.

According to PWInsider.com by way of 411mania.com and Fightful Select, Omos is expected to be brought back in for this weekend’s Royal Rumble, though it is not clear if he will be participating in the Men’s Royal Rumble match. Omos recently ended his run in Pro Wrestling Noah in Japan, saying that he was returning to WWE. He has not wrestled a televised WWE match since April 2024.

Opinion: This is the kind of return that should make for quite the moment and it would not stun me to see Omos as an entrant in the Royal Rumble match. Omos is perfectly made for this kind of a match as you do not see someone with his size and presence very often. He has become something of a fixture of battle royals and I could go for seeing him return, possibly even full time.
