Where is he? WWE’s NXT developmental system has quite the talented roster. The brand is designed to get people ready for a move up to the main roster and that can be done in a variety of ways. One of the most common ways is to have someone become a big star in NXT before taking them away and moving them up to the main roster. There is a chance that is what we are seeing again.

According to Fightful Select by way of Cagesideseats.com, Oba Femi has not been seen backstage in NXT since his loss to Tony D’Angelo last month at Halloween Havoc. It is not clear why Femi is missing and there is nothing to indicate that he is injured. There is also no word on any potential main roster call up for Femi, who set the record for longest North American Title reign earlier this year. It is not clear when he will be back on television.

Opinion: This is an interesting situation as I’m not sure what is going on with Femi. At the end of the day, he’s a monster like few others in NXT and that is something that the company knows how to use. It would not surprise me to see him on the main roster, but he could also use a good bit more seasoning in NXT. There are options here and that is a good thing to have for someone like Femi.
