This can make for some strange and often annoying stretches where a wrestler is not around as often as they could be for one reason or another. During a recent edition of Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer was asked about the status of Roderick Strong. While Strong has not been used by WWE since October, he is still under contract with the company and has not been released. Instead, WWE is simply not using him at the moment. It is not clear what caused them to go in this direction or when Strong might wrestle again.

Opinion: I’m not sure what made WWE change their minds on Strong, but he has gone from being a featured regular on NXT TV to not being around whatsoever. It would be nice to see him back as he is more than talented enough to be a star, but that isn’t going to matter if WWE isn’t interested in using him. Hopefully he gets back sooner than later, as NXT could certainly use him.
